2007年コニカミノルタ主催　フォト・プレミオ『arkhé ～水と太陽～』コニカミノルタプラザ(東京新宿)

タイトルの「arkhē」とは、古代ギリシャの哲学で<根源>の意味である。 地球上のあらゆる生命を生み出してきた水と太陽。無色透明で形が定まらない水は、 波、泡、渦、飛沫等、様々な姿を見せる。しかし、私が撮りたかったのは写真でしか 視ることのできない、肉眼を超えた世界だ。 望遠、接写、高速シャッターにより、瞬間の造形を写す。天候、時間等によって 水と太陽は刻々と変化する。 大自然の偶然と私の意識が重なる瞬間、生命の根源のような水の宇宙が出現した。

"arkhē" of the title is a meaning of in philosophy of the ancient Greece. Water and the sun which produced every life on the earth. On Wednesday when is water-clear, and form is not decided, a wave, a bubble, a whirlpool, spray of water vary; turn up. However, it is the world beyond the naked eye which it can watch only with a photograph that I wanted to take. By looking into the distance, close-up photography, high-speed shutter, I copy momentary molding. Water and the sun change every moment by weather, time. At the moment when chance of the Nature and my consciousness occurred at the same time, space of the water such as the root of the life appeared.
